San Pietro is a beautiful small crag located in a mountain environment and away from the Summer chaos of Arco’s area.
The wall is split into two parts. The left one is a 30 meters vertical wall with great rock and technical fingery routes. Climbing here requires good footwork skills and some endurance.
On the right the wall is more overhanging with some explosive lines and has a great potential for new ones.
Equipment is good and safe, approach is short and the crag base is comfortable.
Thanks to its over 900 meters of altitude and East exposure (shadow in the afternoon), this crag is a good choice to escape from the hot temperatures of Summer. During the mid seasons it is possible to find good friction also in the morning.
San Pietro’s area is really peaceful and nice. There are many mountain trails and it is close to the beautiful Tenno lake, one of the most fascinating lakes of Trentino.
