Rules at the crag:
Nature protection: ⛺️🚫 Wild camping and 🔥🚫 open fires are strictly forbidden. Stay on marked trails and do not disturb wildlife or vegetation 🚷. Take all trash with you, including tissues and food wrappers 🚯.
Toilets: There is a basic toilet below the cliff – please don’t relieve yourself in nature!
Noise control: Avoid loud shouting and music
🚗 The best place to park is the “Schleierwasserfall Parkplatz” Parking Lot – Aschauerweg 94, 6353 Sonnseite, Austria. It costs 2,5 Euro for the entire day, cash only! No Parking over night! (after 23:30)
🚶 From the “Schleierwasserfall Parkplatz” parking, follow the clearly marked trail to Schleierwasserfall (Yellow signs with "Schleierwasserfall" inscription). The path leads through the forest and is all uphill. After about 45–60 minutes of moderate hiking, you’ll reach the main climbing sector just below the waterfall. There are two main paths you can take one sticks to the wide path from the parking lot and the other one is shorter and uses some narrow and steeper trails (marked on map). Both are clearly marked by yellow signs.
