Schleierwasserfall Maltatal

The area is access sensitive!

Schleierwasserfall is located 1 km before the toll road and can be reached throughout the year. It is easy to find, as there is only one main road through the valley. After you pass through the towns Malta and Fischertratten you will pass the distinctive waterfall Fallbach Wasserfall as well as the sport climbing crag Kreuzwand and will soon reach the parking on the left and right side (3€ per day). For easy navigation, the parking is marked at Google Maps as Parkplatz Schleierwasserfall. The parking area is big – please place your car space saving and never park in the meadow. The parking area is equipped with a regularly emptied toilet that is maintained by locals.

From here, the blocks are reachable within 5 to 20 minutes walking. The trail starts right next to the parking and a cow meadow. Make sure to stay on the path and not cross the meadow. There have been issues with private property, so please stay on the marked path that leads from the parking to the bouldering area.

Important notes:

Dogs: As the bouldering area is part of the meadow sometimes grazing cows could come very close (some of the blocks lie directly on the meadow) and therefore dogs are not allowed.
