Geologically the Sedmihoří is a ring structure, meaning it is a deeply denudated, ancient volcano. The denudation is so deep that we cannot find any volcanic rocks (such as basalt), but granites create the whole area.
The granite makes arches along the whole ring structure. The Rozsocha hill is one of these arches (there are more than seven hills in the Sedmihoří 😉), but we can find seven significant hills that create this unique landscape feature.
Unfortunately, the granite is not very convenient for climbing. The crystals are extensive and fragile. That is also a reason why the holds are relatively rare. However, the area is vast, and we can find some spectacular blocks with interesting climbing problems from time to time.
The area dominates technical climbing on the rough granite, mainly on crystal or slopers with mantling at the upper parts.
The Rozsocha is just one small area in the whole Sedmihoří, where many block fields are waiting for boulderers. Even in the Rozsocha area, we can find new blocks that (after cleaning) can offer new lines and problems.

First problems were climbed before/in 2007 and the guide is available here: http://www.lezec.cz/clanky.php?key=3606.
Than the area in surroundings of the Enterprise bloc was developed in 2012 and the guide is available here: http://www.lezec.cz/clanky.php?key=10209.
The general guide (which is presented as a guide for the Sedmihoří area) is available here: http://www.lezec.cz/pruvodcx.php?key=1408. However, I was not able to find glades which are suggested on the map neither to find the described blocs.
You can find some old arrows in the area (even with some numbers). I do not know who is an author of these arrows. They usually mark some obvious easier lines which were possible to climb without cleaning. I do not like arrows personally. Therefore, no arrows or other marks are on the stone and the whole guide is made as a photo guide. If the problem is sit, stand or other start, it is noted in the guide. I also added some footages, if appropriate.
I came into the area in 2020 during the covid closures. I found the old directions overgrown and shattered. Therefore, I started to clean and climb. I wanted to developed the area as a whole because just a a small part of the potential was used.
I think that the area would be interesting for the climbers from Germany because it is not far from the German border.
I climb with my son (10 years old) and we would like to developed a circle for the kids approximately of this age.
Everybody is welcome to come and find a bloc which can be cleaned and climbed. The potential is still big. There is also quite a lot of lines which are difficult – I would like to clean them and open them for hardcore boulderers.
