No special access issues
From Mo i Rana take road 810 towards Nesna/Bodø. After about 35 km take a right onto fv17 towards Bodø. You'll reach Sila bay after about 25 km.
There are three parking possibilities. From the first one, when arriving from Mo i Rana, you can access the sectors Nysteinan and Skjorta til Supermann. From the parking follow a gravel road from the northern end of the parking for about 300 meters. From there it becomes a worn path past some houses. Follow this straight ahead on a slight ridge and you will reach the first boulders of Nysteinan. For Skjorta til Supermann you will have to turn left before the boulders. The path is not very clear but visible. After about 600 meter you reach another path crossing and there's a signpost. Turn up the path to the right and you'll quickly reach the boulders.
For the other main sectors use the second or third parking. The second parking, on the seaside of the road, has toilet facilities and a place to pitch a few tents. From the third parking, there is a vague path going straight uphill. This will take you to the boulder Powerbranch which is on a huge free-standing block. From here there's a path traversing the hillside either left or right. In the sectors furthest left (south) and right (north) there are not any well-worn paths in between the block. You'll have to rely on the map and GPS.
