excellent crag for first sunny spring days

Climbing here is very varied. Quite short are the routes though. At the central part you've got moderate vertical routes. Steep bouldery routes on fingery pockets are on the left and the right side. On the very right side there are two short routes for kids.

Best season is spring or autumn when it's not too warm and the trees are clear.

Due to the exposed location the crag dries very fast. The steep routes are rain protected, as well. Only a few sections at the central overhang soak for long time.

Next Camping is in "Betzenstein". Further accommodations are located in any village around, just pick one that's not occupied. In "Bärnfels" you get good food. Bigger shopping facilities are available in "Ottenhof" or "Pottenstein"
