At "Steinfelder Wändchen" you can catch some sun rays in wintertime. And the routes here are short so no excuses to avoid climbing here in winter. The other sectors "Steinfelder Turm" and "Steinfelder Wand" get sun at late afternoon in the main season. It's perfect for spring and autumn.

This crag is quite exposed so it dries fast after rain but due to it's vertical routes there is no rain protection.

The routes are not very hard what makes this crag perfect for beginners and advanced climbers. The vertical routes on pockets are mostly good protected.

All sectors are perfect for kids in all ages. short access and flat bases.

Accommodation you can get in any village around. Highly recommendable is "Bed and Boulder" in Schirradorf.
Shopping and eating can be done in "Hollfeld". Next beer garden with good and cheap food/beer is directly in "Steinfeld", called "Hübner Bräu"
