Description

As one of the few proper bouldering crags in Bærum, Steinshøgda offer a decent alternative to the more popular Oslo crags. The sandstone rock quality is also fairly unique with its smooth skin friendly surface.

The crag consist of mostly easy to moderate difficulty boulders with a couple of harder classics. Landings are often rugged and stony so its recommended to bring a couple of pads and/or spot.

All projects are open unless it is stated otherwise. If you open something, please report through 27 Crags. And as some of the boulders seldom gets repeated, it can be å good idea to bring a steel brush just in case.

Be also aware of the border to Kolsåsstupene nature reservate to the west of the crag. All cleaning of stone inside the reservate is strictly forbidden

Please keep a low profile, leave no traces, remove tickmarks, don't play music, enjoy!
