Description

The area consists of Sulan ("the sole") and a collection of boulders south of it. Sulan has two really nice technical problems on great rock quality and the south boulders at the forest edge have a few overhanging problems and slabs.

⭐ "Blåfotad sula" (7A+) - nice technical climbing with slopers, small underclings and crimps.
⭐ "Sulan" (6C) - technical arête.
⭐ "Grötälskaren" (7B) - another technical problem where after a powerfull start you need to find the balance, there's an easier sit start variant "Gröt" (6C).
⭐ "Taggtråd till frukost" (6A) - initial crux moves overhanging and then juggy topout.

Best season is usually early spring when it's good friction. Sulan is located in a sparse pine forest and can take some time to dry. The southern boulders located in brushwood and faces south so can dry faster.

All boulders have good landings, easy to place pads. An extra crashpad or two is recommended for the topout at Sulan and Taggtråd.

History
