Rock fall and cliffs

The regions geography has been notably shaped by the late ice age. Many of these mountains emerged as the ice melted and the pressure from the massive ice sheets was relieved, leaving sheer granite rock faces, carved and worn by erosion. You can clearly see the effects as smooth, curvy features. Some of the surface rocks broke free and now lie in a boulder boneyard at the base of the mountain. This means that the boulders share the same desirable quality of the mother mountain.

History

Storm Ferreira stumbled upon the cliff by chance in 2024. Upon further inspection, the unmarked cliff revealed to have bolted routes in addition to some fine boulders. The routes were reportedly bolted by a Peter Olsson from Karlsborg a good few years prior. The routes are no longer used and are forgotten, which is a shame because the cliff itself is remarkable and further development should definitely be considered.
