Super nice crag, 15-25 m high with lots of cracks, holds and formations. Mostly solid granite rock. Routes are mix of slightly overhanging, vertical and steep slab. All routes are traditional protected routes. A few of them have one or two bolts to make them safe, so more people can enjoy them. Most routes have good protection in necassary places but some are not always easy to find or place.
Development of the crag started around 2008. At that time it was hidden behind a forest and not so obvious if you passed by in a car. There were small frogs at the bottom of the crag and usually some Kantarell mushrooms in autumn. Nowdays the trees are cut down and the crag is verry easy to see. The first route was established in 2010, later another one in 2012. From 2020-2023 most of the routes got their FA.
The area is access sensitive!
🚶Infront of the crag there is a fir plantation. Be carefull not to damage any plants. Pay extra attention to the fir plants right under the cliff when pulling down ropes and walking around.
🅿️ The main parking at the east end of the cliff fits two cars. If the main parking space is full there is an alternative parking for one car along the road further to the west, to the left when standing infront of the cliff. At the alternative parking there are beehives, do not disturb them and be ready to move your car if the owner comes to attend his bees. If both those parkings are full, do not park on the road side. Then use the parking at the 3K gas station or Max Hamburger restaurang close to the E6 junction and walk to the cliff.
