The huge field of boulders that doesn't seem to end...
The rock is generally course granite but most of the problem we opened where on great rock! We only scratched the surface of the potential and I'm sure the area around Mangochi will be developed further in the future!

History
In 2013 Haroun Souirji, Julie La Guigne, Scott Noy, Ben Rueck & Mélissa le Névé did a climbing roadtrip around Malawi. One of the spots we had in mind were the boulders around Mangochi and in particular the hillside overlooking the "St. Paul the Apostle Minor Seminary". We were not disappointed!

The area is access sensitive!
Access: We contacted the head of the St. Paul the Apostle Minor Seminary before we arrived and got permission to enter the property. I recommend contacting "Climb Malawi" who has been there after us and might know more up-to-date info.

Drive: Park at the seminary.
Walk: There is no specific trail but when we were there the locals had burn the land and you could easily walk between the boulders.
