Description

Torbole:
Torbole is one Arco's newest gems. It offers few but beautiful routes very close to the lake, so a spectacular landscape appears when you reach the top.
The wall is mainly vertical with large tufas and some pitches start on big stalactites.
The difficulties go from 6b to 6c+.
The base is quite comfortable and the routes are bolted well and are not polished.

The deep water soloing spot offers traverses and short vertical lines on nice rock with a lot of tufas. The water is very deep so it is possible to jump from the top of the wall. In this sector there are also some brand new lines. Long traverses around the cave and also some intense pitches starting inside of it. Difficulties up to 8a+.

Some advices for the deep water soloing: climb here during the hottest summer periods, when the water is warm. It is better to climb in the morning cause there are no waves that could push you on the rock.

Torbolino:
Torbolino is a small and storical crag with six routes around sixth grade. It is rarely frequented, but the pitches are interesting, just above the lake level. The crag has a nice grey limestone which offers a technical climbing.

History

Torbole:
Torbole was discovered by Luca Onorevoli in the spring of 2016. Luca is a local climber that visited almost all the crags of north Italy during last years and this crag is his signature in the climbing of Arco. The last two routes on the right were recently set up by Jacopo Biserni (2018).

Torbole DWS:
this sector was born as deep water soloing spot. In 2020, Nicola Trenti and Luca Onorevoli started to equip some new sport routes. Other lines were bolted by Lorenzo De Bonis and Filippo Armellini.
