Description

Transatlantico and Pian dela Paia:
Transatlantico is a huge vertical wall offering both sport routes and multi-pitches. The climbing is mainly technical on beautiful crimpers and pockets. Sport routes difficulties go from 5c to 7b, while multi-pitches are generally not so long but quite intense.
The equipment is good, the crag base comfortable and the approach is long but easy.
The 12 sport routes are very nice, but you cannot lose the multi-pitches.
To come back from the multi-pitches it is possible to rappel down or get to the top and walk uphill through the woods till you reach the dirt road. The dirt road is the same that was taken previously to get to the crag.

On the left of sector Transatlantico there is another huge wall, furrowed by dihedrals, edges, chimneys and cracks. It is called Pian dela Paia and collects interesting multi-pitch routes with difficulties around the sixth grade. Do not miss route “Diedro Manolo”, which is considered one of the best routes of the valley.

The landscape is beautiful from Transatlantico and Pian dela Paia. Although the crag is far from the city of Pietramurata, some days it can result quite noisy due to the motocross bikes running in the below circuit.

Camerette:
Camerette is a super half seasons crag with over 30 routes from 5c/6a to 8a. The equipment is good and the crag base is comfortable.
The leftmost sector has mainly technical routes on grey limestone on its left, while the ones on the right have overhanging starts. The sector on the right is rarely frequented but the routes are interesting.
Since almost all the routes are beautiful, the crag is quite frequented and some pitches could result a bit polished.

Muro di chitarra:
Muro di chitarra is a quiet crag nestled in the woods. The routes are short, intense and well bolted. The total amount of routes is 13, but only 7 of them were freed by the bolters. The difficulties goes from 6b to 8a and the projects can be tried without problems.
The few routes have a beautiful rock and for sure deserve to be climbed.

Baule:
Baule is a small wall between Muro di chitarra and Giardino di Nato. The routes are 7 and the difficulties are around the seventh grade. The wall is vertical, the rock is good and the equipment is ok.
Baule is very quiet and rarely frequented, but the routes are nice.

Giardino di Nato:
25 routes from 5c to 7b on nice vertical limestone with crimpers and slopers. This is what Giardino di Nato offers to the visitors. The area is quiet and surrounded by woods.
The routes equipment is good.
