Vaskebrettet is the ultimate after-work crag. With a 12 second approach, short, elegant lines with varied climbing, and an aspect that catches the sun's last rays it is THE place to go for a quick rock fix, to enjoy the evening sun and the beautiful views over the fjord from the top.
It is also the perfect crag for staring leading on trad and practicing for multpitches.
Members of Sandefjord og Vear Klatreklubb cleaned a lot of vegitation from underneath the crag in 2022, which makes the crag nicer to hang out at. The approach is less then a minute, so don´t worry about carrying the rack for two long!
Diana's Felt is a nice little sector just passed Væskebrettet (on the left, at the other side of the field). This most obvious line was climbed on the day Diana was burried. And as the climbers was such big fans of the monarchy they decided to name the route after Diana's last (and the one before that) journey.
Check the bolts! Not sure when it was last rebolted. We will rebolt anchors and bolts during 2022.
