Due to the south facing main wall this crag is excellent for Wintertime. The other sides can be climbed in summer time but best season is spring and autumn.

This crag doesn't offer many rain proof routes but they'll dry quite fast.

A gorgeous crag to get a clue what classic routes can be found in Frankenjura. The older lines offer a bit further protection and good classic climbing.

access isn't too far but the base of the crag is quite uneven.. so better take a baby sitter

Next "one and only" camping is Oma Eichler, not far down the river. A must go to get in touch with other climbers and get good cake. Good restaurants and cafes are located in "Obertrubach" and "Egloffstein". Bigger shopping facilities are in "Gräfenberg" way south or at Motorway access (A9 #46) in "Plech".
