all sectors offer good quality rock and good pocket climbing. from easier slabs to harder boulder routes up to 15 meters height.

Most routes are facing north and are recommended for summer and autumn. At "Z-Bau" there are a few south facing routes from 4 to 9+ UIAA though that can get sun in wintertime.

once it's wet it stays wet for long time. Only exception are the south facing routes of sector "Z-Bau"

Except "Obi Sektion" all sectors are easy reachable and offer a flat base what makes it easy to hang out with kids.

The place to be is Camping Eichler in "Untertrubach" ..not only for accommodation but good cake, as well.. In "Obertrubach" or "Egloffstein" you can find good restaurants and cafes. For bigger shopping go to "Ebermannstadt".
