The Latorita Valley is located in Latorita Mountains, Valcea, 69 km from Ramnicu Valcea.
Rock type: Metamorphic rocks. You can find here a bit of all types of climbing with pretty good landings, of course with some exceptions.
Best routes: Juno 5+, Hulk 6A+, Shazam 6C+, Hai mai Valerica (Come On Valerica) 6C+, Joker7B, Revolution 7B, Modern Love 7C and Dirty Diana 7B+.
You can climb here all year long, but best seasons are Spring and Autumn.
Accommodation on holiday houses located on the Lotru Valley, from Brezoi to Voineasa. You can wild camp anywhere you like in the crag area.
On rainy or rest days you can make trips to Petrimanu, Gabenu or Vidra dams, or drive on the highest road in Romania - Transalpina, in beautiful mountain landscapes.
In every summer there is a international blues festival at Brezoi - 34 km.
In winter you can enjoy winter sports at Transaplina Ski Resort - 47 km from the crag.
Latorita Valley is a mountain area, altitude from 600 to 1000 meters, so you should be prepared for that. Make sure you have the basic first aid kit.

Caution! Some locals said that in the area might be viper snakes. Until now I never saw one, but be careful! Emergency services: 112!
